The Breach is a hands-on introduction to web reconnaissance and practical attack techniques, hosted on the Exploit3rs Hacking Dungeon. You'll work through real vulnerabilities, compete on a live leaderboard, and walk away with tangible proof of your offensive security skills.
During the workshop, you'll execute guided web reconnaissance on a live target environment, then tackle a technical challenge using containerized labs that spin up real attack scenarios on demand. Compete solo with dynamic scoring that rewards both accuracy and speed — early solvers earn a 20% bonus. Challenges span multiple difficulty tiers, so you'll learn fundamentals while staying challenged. Your performance appears on the live leaderboard, giving you ranked proof of where you stand among peers.

Bhargav Raj Dutta will guide the session, bringing hands-on expertise in offensive reconnaissance techniques. The event runs Monday, 14 September 2026, 5:00–7:00 PM at Khalifa University. Admission is free for Khalifa University students. All you need is a laptop and curiosity. Every participant receives an automatically issued certificate valid for 12 months, adding immediate credibility to your security portfolio.

Event Access & Eligibility
This workshop is exclusively open to enrolled Khalifa University students. Attendees must bring a functioning laptop capable of SSH access and web browser navigation. Exploit3rs reserves the right to modify event logistics, timing, or content with 48 hours' notice. Attendees participate at their own risk; Exploit3rs and Khalifa University assume no liability for laptop damage, data loss, or technical issues resulting from participation.
Registration & Attendance
Registration is free and required. Attendees must register via Exploit3rs prior to the event. No-shows may result in exclusion from future Exploit3rs events at Khalifa University. If you cannot attend, cancel your registration at least 24 hours before the event. Certificates are issued automatically to all attendees who complete the workshop; partial attendance may result in certificate denial at Exploit3rs' discretion.
Code of Conduct & Fair Play
All participants must adhere to ethical hacking principles. Attacks against systems outside the designated lab environments, sharing of flags or solutions during the event, use of automated tools beyond platform-provided utilities, or harassment of other participants will result in immediate disqualification and potential referral to university disciplinary authorities. The leaderboard reflects individual effort; any suspicion of cheating will be investigated and may lead to removal from future events. Disputes over scoring must be raised in writing within 24 hours of event conclusion.
Data & Certificate Policy
Exploit3rs collects your name, university email, and performance data (challenge solves, leaderboard placement) solely for certificate issuance and event analytics. Your leaderboard handle and rank may be displayed publicly during the event. Certificates are valid for 12 months from issuance and are non-transferable. By registering, you consent to the use of your name and performance data in event communications and marketing materials, unless you opt out in writing before the event.
